Every
time my boyfriend's mother gets a new couch, we get the old one.
I wish I had taken pictures of them in the last 8 years because
we would win by the sheer volume of ugly couches passing through
this house.
This is the latest one. The cats are
the only ones who are able to find a comfortable spot on it.
Otherwise, it's where my boyfriend throws his clothes and other
stuff. It's sort of a stuffed coffee table.

This
couch was a hand me down from a good high school friend
who "didn't want to see this get trashed", that
was about 7 years ago. Now keeping my promise of
not letting it leave our circle of friends
I sent out a mass e-mailer with absolutely
zero response. So I decided I might as
well try and have it nominated as the
ugliest couch ever, so I won't feel totally used.

I
would like to submit my couch and matching padded coffee table
to your ugly couch contest. The couch is from the late 60s early
70s. I just love it it has rips and lovely wood accents. Its
bright red and yellow ugly, worthy of any shag- adelic spot in
Austin Power's living room . Its screams and I love it. The
couch also folds flat for a bed to sleep on. Thank you and have

parents bought this couch over 30 years ago. Believe it or
not, it's an Ethan Allen! When they purchased a new

Hi,
Here's my ugly
couch contest entry. I got this thing in its current decrepit
condition when I was in grad school. My best guess is that
it used to be yellow before it got covered in dirt, grime,
and disturbing stains. I'd like to offer up some sort of excuse
as to why I still have the thing - but I don't have one.
If I win, I promise I'll get rid of it!
